We did deserve to beat spurs, but that's no great achievement as they have a very over rated manager who is having to make the pile of shite they bought last season work, on the chairmans orders.

I agree with that to a certain extent. Tottenham can feel lucky we had a load of new signings that needed time to bed in, or we would have given them the trouncing our performance meritted.

Surely they mean that after 8 games, man city are doing better so far than all bar chelsea. What that indicates is that they have played better than 18 of the other 19 teams to date. This also tells us that they are quite good. We can also deduct that they are not shit and are playing rather well.

We are fourth, but in all honesty that is a false position enhanced by a lot of poor teams.
Im struggling with this statement. If its a false position should we be lower or higher? Secondly should the poor teams be above us?
